The Community Centre is set in the Centre of Deane Park, off Long Drive, about 15 minutes walk away from South Ruislip Main line & Tube Station.
The nearest bus route is the 114 in Victoria Road at the bottom end of Long Drive or the 282 stopping at the top end in Field End Road. The new teachers training centre is just around the corner in Queens Walk next to Deanesfield School. History:
South Ruslip Community Associationْs premises used to be in Angus Drive but when their building was condemned the council moved them in to the hall in Deane Park, where it has grown from strength to strength. Wally Steven & Wally White were the backbone to the centre but unfortunately are no longer there to appreciate its growth. In the year 2000 they were given a lottery grant of £23,000 to upgrade the building externally and internally, with new windows, central heating and fully decorated. Shortly after the work was finished the vandals broke in and ruined some of their work but undaunted they got on with repairing the smashed doors and cleaning up the mess. A sophisticated alarm system & C.T.V. cameras, with help from the L.B.H. Revenue Grant, were added to deter future vandals.

The main hall is available to hire for £35 per hour at weekends or £47 per hour for the whole building. There is also a lounge (with private garden). There is a Special discount for young childrens birthday parties.
