The center is located in Ditchfield Road, which is off Broadmead Road and Glencoe Road, and at the rear of the Tescos Yeading store. It was built in 1995 to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and leisure time activities, with the objects of improving conditions of life for the inhabitatnts of Yeading & the neighbourhood.
The London Borough of Hillingdon owns the building, which consists of a large building, which can accommodate about 200 people, plus a smaller hall, two meeting rooms, changing rooms, kitchen, office & a lounge. It is accessible for disabled and has parking for about 90 cars.
The association is a registered charity, is self-financing and managed by an elected management committee . As a charity it cannot enter into any trade and its income is derived from letting the premises to sections and affiliated bodies & private users. There is a licensed bar, which is managed for the benefit of the charity, by a separate social club.
We provide facilities for a number of sections and affiliated groups to operate.
